The Pallmann Family at Home


The children had school and homework, but they also had time for Grandmom and PopPop!




While they were at school, we installed a new floor in their bathroom


The pool felt great at 87 degrees! The Jaccuzzi was even warmer!


Weekend Retreat at Lake Arrowhead


It was an uphill climb to get there, but worth it!


Friends of the Pallmanns loaned us their lovely "cabin"




Jonathan was fascinated with the blue jays

We were impressed by the framed autographs showing the cabin owners with well-known personalities like Mickey Rooney and Jay Leno. There were even autographed tire treads!

Hiking through the forest was refreshing except that last year's fires had scarred much of the area

We had breakfast in the Belgian Waffle Works...


...and dinner at Woody's Boat House, named after classic wooden boats





We took a cruise around the lake while the captain pointed out the mansions of celebrities


Jonathan got to steer the boat!


We photographed 3 dogs in front of the "Three Dog Bakery" -- the amusement park sign was also amusing!


We had a great vacation with our family!
