Hannah

We got our eighth puppy from The Seeing Eye on October 24, 2016. A female, black Lab/Golden mix, Hanna got along just fine with Pippi!

At six months of age, our Seeing Eye puppies get "vested" and we can take them to more places. Here is Hannah proudly wearing her new vest on March 14, 2017.

Our dogs always loved trips to the beach and Hannah was no exception.

Hannah's last trip with the Seeing Eye Puppy Raisers was to the Atlantic City Airport.

There were ten black Labs and one yellow Lab in the litter and all eleven returned to The Seeing Eye for training together! In the photo below, Hannah (center) plays with two of her brothers, Huck and Heiko.

Hannah returned to Morristown on January 8th, 2018, to begin final training as a guide dog. Here is her graduation photo.

Our therapy dog, Pippi, misses Hannah - and so do we!

Hannah was placed with a blind lady in Connecticut and at Christmas time 2018, we received a special package containing a set of four hand crotched place mats and a three-page thank you letter! You can download the letter as a PDF document here, but you might just need tissues when you read it !
