Sabrina

On July 1, 2015, we got our seventh puppy to raise for The Seeing Eye. A female, black Labrador Retriever, Sabrina is adorable, but she has razor-sharp teeth. Hopefully, Johnson & Johnson is a generous contributor to The Seeing Eye!

Sabrina's Mommy is a Chocolate Lab, but all 8 puppies were black! Can you tell which one is Sabrina?


On August 22, we attended the annual Seeing Eye Family Day for puppy raisers.


Over 50 youth who raised at least two puppies received generous scholarships


It is no small task to feed 1350 members of puppy raiser families!


There were posters everywhere including one of Verna.


We enjoyed the displays, demonstrations and interacting with other puppy raisers.


No one wanted to leave until the ice cream trucks had arrived!

Sabrina completed training and we had the pleasure of watching her "Town Walk" on January 12, 2017 in Morristown, NJ.

We were very proud of Sabrina and her trainer said that she did everything perfectly. She should be partnered with some blind person soon.
